A very colorful and exciting restaurant Tijuana Flats offers customer excellent service and great food!
After visiting Tijuana Flats with Melissa I took my parents there, and they enjoyed it as well! :) They offer a Hot Bar with 15 different sauces ranging from sweet, mild, and HOTT!! I would definitely go back to Tijuana Flats. Melissa and I spent 3 1/2 hrs. just sitting on the porch listening to great music, enjoying our food, and the company.

Let's Nosh
This week's GNO brought Melissa and I to Let's Nosh, a jewish deli.
The restaurant was not busy at all, which is always a little scary. They have seat yourself seating. After getting settled in a table we started looking over the menu. They have several things on the menu that had we not asked what they were we never would have known...there was no description.
Melissa and I learned a few things. lol There was a starter item on the menu called a knish. We debated over the pronunciation and well let's just say the 'k' isn't silent.
I played it safe and ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap. It was pretty good I was actually surprised I didn't expect it to be so good. They used an oil-based caesar dressing which most places don't use.
The service was okay towards the end of our meal it felt as if we were forgotten. Took awhile for her to come around and bring us our bill. I am glad I had cash because who knows how long it would have taken for her to come collect the bill and give it back.

BJ's Brewhouse
This past week GNO took us to BJ's Brewhouse. Luckily after a long work week this restaurant is only a 10min drive from our work.
We attempted to go try this place a couple times, but I'm really glad we decided not to go the first week they opened. Although, I feel that they still have some kinks that need to be fixed.
The wait time for a party of 2 on a Thursday at 6:30pm was 30min. We were called sooner than 30min., but the hostesses made a mistake and gave our table to another couple so in actuality we did end up waiting 30min if not longer. (and so begins the frustration) The hostess stand had 5 people working, seemed as if they were all running into each other. After their mistake and them telling us we were next they proceeded to seat 2 parties of 2 and 3 parties of 3. (so much for being next)
Although we were standing right next to the hostess stand we were slowly being forgotten. Melissa went around and talked to one of the hostesses to remind them we were still waiting. They were waiting for a 2 top to open up so they didn't have to put us in a 4 top. They sucked it up cause they sat us at the 4 top. lol
The menu was literally a book of choices, it reminded me of The Cheesecake Factory minus the advertisements. I would say that almost half the menu is just different drinks they serve.
I was surprised with how fast the food came to the table. The presentation was nice and the proportions were plentiful. I ordered fish tacos, which came with 2 tacos, sides of salsa, guacamole and tortilla chips.
Our service was absolutely terrible. We only saw our server a few times and she had other servers take care of our table. It was as if our table wasn't really in our server's section.
My meal was good but I would probably not eat here again.

Tacolu
I found out about TacoLu on facebook of all places. A few friends checked-in here so, after looking them up on-line and checking out their menu I told Melissa that we should check it out, and we did!
The restaurant is small and the parking is even more minimal. Luckily we were able to snag a parking spot out back, or else we would have had to park across the street. Caution don't park on 1st Street because you will end up with a parking ticket.
We went on a Thursday night and the wait time was minimal about 10 minutes. The restaurant is decorated very festively and offers a great atmosphere. Chips and salsa were brought to our table right away.
The food is priced reasonably and very fresh. I ordered 2 tacos and a water; the total bill was $8.32 including my $2 tip.
After our visit we both agreed that we would definitely come back!

UPDATE: Since going to TacoLu with Melissa I have been back 1x. I brought my parents this time and the experience was completely different. We went on a Saturday night and the wait was 30min. Due to the restaurant being busier than the previous visit we had to park across the street and walk over. Once we were finally seated we enjoyed margaritas, chips & salsa, and our tacos. The restaurant was much louder and it was hard to hear or have a conversation with anyone at the table. However, the food was delicious and I would still come back!
